Book Talk with Nancy Welch will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 3-4:30 p.m. at the Greer (Jean M. Smith) Library.

Nancy will share stories from her “A Taste of Humor Cookbook”. Nancy has combined some of her favorite recipes and stories into a cookbook that can be used to prepare meals for family and friends.

Free dance clinics for 'Hairspray' audition prospects

Free dance clinics will be held the next three Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon to prepare for Greer Children’s Theatre “Hairspray” auditions. The clinic dates are Oct. 8, 15 and 22.

There are a limited number of spaces available and it’s first come, first served.

“Annie” is coming to Greer for a six-performance engagement Nov. 4-13 at the J. Harley Bonds Career Center.

Annie, the popular comic strip is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.
