Keep the nameplates, city election closed, incumbents' reign continues

Wryley Bettis, District Five councilman, knows the routine of being sworn in after an unopposed race. Judge Hank Mims swears in Bettis for a four-term in 2012. He was unopposed.
 
 

All five incumbents have retained their seats for mayor, city council and commissioner for Greer CPW.

It’s the second time in the past two elections all the incumbents ran unopposed and no election was held.
