McDonald’s is offering $1 any size soft drinks and tea beginning today at the Greer location on Memorial Drive Extension and all other participating brand restaurants.

Bobby Connor, a partner with the Greer store and seven other McDonald’s franchises in Greenville County, said coffee is also being offered for $1 except for the specialty drinks.

Connor also wanted to give coffee drinkers advance notice that McDonald’s will offer free coffee Sept. 23-29 in observance of National Coffee Day on Sept. 29.

The Greer McDonald’s has begun a promotion campaign that will feature a WPJM 800 AM gospel radio remote broadcast on Friday, Sept. 21 from 3-6 p.m. The broadcast by the Greer station will be partnering with a voter registration drive.

Sweet potato pie is an offering in this region and a new selection of sandwiches will be announced this month for a limited time offer. Monopoly will also return this year.

McDonald’s has just received its new menus with nutrition and calorie information. It’s the first national fast food chain to provide that for its customers.
