Three students from the Greer area have been awarded $10,000 higher education scholarships from the CBL Charitable Foundation.

Greer High School seniors Kylie Brooke Howard and Carson A. Radlein were both winners of the 2018 Robert F. Williams Scholarship, named for a past CBL Board Chairman and member of the South Carolina State Board of Education. Both will attend Clemson University.

Hayden Bryson Lines, a senior at Blue Ridge High School, was awarded the 2018 Citizens Building and Loan SSB Scholarship. He will attend the College of Charleston.

The CBL Foundation Higher Education Scholarships target deserving students graduating in the local area who may not otherwise be eligible for scholarship funding.

Students interested in applying will find the applications and qualifications on the bank’s website at CBLBankLocal.com. Applications are due by April 15 of applicants’ senior year.
