Plate 108 has announced through the Greer Station Association that its Chili Cook Off, scheduled Saturday at Oktoberfest has been cancelled.
Organizers told GSA there were not enough registered for the contest. Plate 108 was promoting the police department vs. the fire department.
However, there will be plenty of authentic German food and drink and entertainment Saturday in downtown Greer during the Greer State Bank Oktoberfest.
