Varner is Young Miss Teen Greenwood County and Henderson is Young Miss Teen Oconee County.
Dana Jordan will help get the girls get dressed, and their hair and makeup styled for the competitions and interviews. Jordan, a professional stylist, has been nicknamed “Glam Fairy”. “It would be much easier if I had fairy dust and a wand,” Jordan said.
“This has been an amazing journey and sharing it between best friends makes it even more special,” Dana Jordan (Greer Idol 2011) said. “Of course we both want to win but we support each other completely and will be happy no matter the outcome.”
The girls registered this morning and interviews begin at 1 p.m. Tonight they compete in beauty with the Top 12 announced.
Talent is Friday night. Riley will sing the radio version of “When I’m Gone”, also known as the Cup song, and Madison will be clogging to “Wings”. The finals are Saturday night.
Riley is the daughter of Dana Jordan and Lt. Cris Varner of the Greer Police Department.
Madison is the daughter of Lori and Joey Henderson.
