Betty Digby, 88: Valued friendships and was passionate volunteer, caregiver
Betty Gulley Digby valued friendships –some for more than 80 years. She cooked 65 years of memorable Southern meals.

Most of value and enjoyment was with her husband Ron, married for 63 years.

Betty, 88, passed away peacefully at her home last Friday. She lived a fulfilling and giving life.

Betty lived during a generation where she chose to work at home and nourish family. Making arts and crafts, volunteering at church, community and children’s activities were personally fulfilling.

She worked at Greer Commission of Public Works, was a bridal consultant for Belk and traveled throughout the U.S. and internationally with her husband.
