Two of Greer’s favorite bakers are once again providing their specialties for Big Thursday.
Ann Helton and friends have prepared 40 apple pies and Nancy Welch has prepared 120 dozen Angel biscuits to sell in the frozen goods section. Both ladies have been a part of Big Thursday for many years, supporting the ministry with their gift for baking.
Biscuits are $3 per dozen and pies are $25.
Ellen Roberson, GCM’s Meals on Wheels director and chef, is providing 36 quiches and 50 chicken pot pies to sell as well.
The culinary arts students at Bonds Career Center and local churches will provide more than 100 frozen casseroles for the event. Casseroles will be priced from $8-24.
