Bishop-McIntosh team for bass fishing victory in inaugural Lions Club tournament

Mark Bishop (Greer) and Andy McIntosh (Lyman) won the inaugural Greer Centennial Lions Club bass fishing tournament on Lake Robinson Saturday. Bishop and McIntosh totaled a catch of 19.34 pounds.

Randall Eubanks (Spartanburg) and Chad Powell (Wellford) caught the Big Fish – 7.22 pounds – and were second with a total weight of 18.57 pounds

Total prize money, first-10th and the big fish was $3,500.

There were 41 boats and 70 participants.

The tournament was a fundraiser for the Lions Club to purchase glaucoma screening equipment, a $6,000 machine purchased through tournament proceeds and a grant. It will be used at May’s Family Fest.
