Nine team members competed against 40 schools from North Carolina and South Carolina. The following BJA students placed in their events:
Emma Pait of Greenville — 3rd in Original Oratory (top South Carolina finish in this event — 3 way tie for first which was broken on speaker points putting Emma 3rd)
Lauren Jacquette of Taylors — 3-1 record and 5th in Junior Varsity Lincoln Douglas debate
Josh Casillas of Greer — 3-1 record and 6th in Junior Varsity Lincoln Douglas debate
Daniel Quigley of Fountain Inn — 3-1 record and10th in Junior Varsity Lincoln Douglas debate
