Blue Ridge falls to Belton-Honea Path

Blue Ridge fell to Belton-Honea Path in both teams opening season football game Friday night at Honea Path.

BHP rolled up 400 yards and limited Blue Ridge was held to under 100 total yards.

Quarterback Kameron threw touchdown passes to Eddie Moss on 43-yard and 36-yard pass plays, respectively. Burton also scored on BHP’s first possession with a 17-yard run and later on a 27-run.

The start of the game was delayed about a half of hour because of rain.

Blue Ridge plays at Landrum next Friday.
