The Blue Ridge Choral Honors Men’s Choir placed first to give the program its third state high school championship in the AAA South Carolina Choral State Festival held in Columbia last week. The Honors Concert Choir placed fourth.
Both choirs received overall Superior ratings in both performance and sight-reading. The BRHS Men’s Choir had the third highest overall score of all 57 schools competing.
Nineteen AAA choirs presented their programs for three adjudicators, receiving a festival rating and rank.
