A forum for County Council and legislative candidates in the Greer area will be held Thursday at the Cannon Centre from 7-9 p.m.
Invited to the forum are candidates for state Senate Districts 5 and 12, and County Council Districts 18 and 21. Invitees include Sen. Tom Corbin and John B. White Jr., Sen. Lee Bright and Scott Talley, David McCraw and Lisa Scott, County Councilman Joe Baldwin and Mike Barnes, and County Council candidates Lance Byars, Stacy Kuper and Rick Roberts.
The event is free and open to the public. The Cannon Centre is at 204 Cannon Street.
The Greer, Greenville, Simpsonville and Travelers Chambers of Commerce and The Greenville News are sponsoring the event.
