CertusBank, N.A., headquartered in Greenville, has purchased Resource Financial Services, Inc. of Columbia, an independently owned mortgage company. The transaction is an addition in CertusBank's growth and expansion plans for its mortgage business.
Resource Financial, founded in 2008, has eight locations serving customers in five states. The transaction comes following a recent acquisition of Charlotte, North Carolina-based, Myers Park Mortgage.
