A sun-splashed day greeted hundreds of children at Century Park today for the Egg-Tastic Easter event.

The Greer Parks and Recreation department distributed 8,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes. The children with baskets, most of them held by their parents and friends, took only minutes to find all the eggs.

The event featured a magic show by Jack Roper, games and crafts and inflatables.
