John Prignano, senior operations officer of Music Theatre International, will conduct the workshop on Friday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. at the J. Harley Bonds Career Center at 505 N. Main St.
Workshop attendees will receive a complimentary ticket to the GCT’s performance of “Hairspray” that night.
Included in the workshop is a demonstration of MTI’s new RehearScorePLUS and innovative music enhancement system: OrchEXTRA. Also featured, an introduction to MTI’s newest resources: Virtual Stage Management online and TheatreTix4U.
Prignano has been with MTI since 1996. He toured professionally in musicals throughout the world. For more than 10 years he choreographed and performed in special symphony orchestra concerts designed to introduce children to classical music. Prignano judges several national talent competitions and teaches master classes throughout the United States.
