Children eyes will sparkle with an evening of Christmas festivities at Greer City Park.

 

 

The Christmas holiday season is celebrated in Greer with an evening of festivities, the tree lighting and arrival of Santa Claus at Greer City Park.

Weather made to order, clear skies and mild temperatures (60-55 degrees), will greet thousands of visitors to the 5-7:30 p.m. ceremonies.

Santa’s, and he’s usually on schedule, arrives at 7:15 with the Christmas tree lighting at 7:30.

Activities planned:

• Children can make replicas, free, of Rudolph, Frosty, Santa

• Free photos in larger-than-life Christmas snow globe

• Chandler Creek Elementary School Choir

• Foothill Philharmonic Brass Quintet

• Carolers

• Southern Dance Connection

• Ignite Dance Company

• The Quatrophonics

• 2015 Greer Idol Teen winner Roni Leigh Teems

• Riverside High School band and orchestra ensembles
