Riverside Middle School will host Riverside Royals Community Spirit Fest March 27 in conjunction with Spirit Week and the Fun Run from 5-7:30 p.m. Activities include the Anne Frank Exhibit, RMS Band Performance, and the RMS soccer, softball, and baseball teams play against Northwood Middle School. Some of Greenville’s finest eateries and local community services will be featured as well. 

iMOVE 5k Run/Walk will be May 3

The 4th Annual iMOVE 5K Run/Walk will be May 3. Check-in will be at 8 a.m., pre-race warmup at 8:30 a.m., and the start of the race/walk at 9 a.m. All  proceeds will be donated to "Let There Be Mom" and "Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services."  For more information, visit the RMS website.

Next baseball games scheduled

The next baseball game of the season will be RMS vs. Blue Ridge on Monday, March 17 at Riverside Middle School and RMS vs. Beck on Thursday, March 20 at Riverside Middle School. Games begin at 5 p.m.

The next soccer games of the season will be RMS vs. Blue Ridge on Thursday, March 17 at Blue Ridge and RMS vs. Beck on Thursday, March 20 at Riverside Middle School. Games begin at 4:30 pm. 

Don't miss the Anne Frank Exhibit

Anne Frank, A History for Today, the traveling exhibit from the Anne Frank museum will be at Riverside Middle School through March 28. The exhibit will be open to schools for field trips through 28 and to the public March 15-27 during select hours. Visit www.greenville.k12.sc.us/rms/ for more information and times. Contact Mary Higgins at RMS to schedule a field trip at 355-7902. A donation of $1 per person is requested. 

RMS participating in Drive's Reading All-Stars

Riverside Middle School is into its second week of the Greenville Drive Reading All-Stars program. Students have five weeks to read five books and record those books in their reading logs. Reading logs are due to the library on Friday, March 28. All students who submit a completed log by the due date will receive a t-shirt, a chance to participate in pre-game and in-game entertainment at Fluor Field, the opportunity to participate in the parade around the outfield, recognition on the DriveVision, and a voucher for a free ticket to the celebration game on Sunday, May 25 at 4 p.m.
