Drs. JaVona Brown and Sonya Shyam are the resident dentists. Brown graduated University of Missouri and Shyam received her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and post grad at New York City University of Dentistry.
The dental practice held its ribbon cutting Wednesday afternoon and officially opens Thursday at the newly developed Suber Commons, a four-acres, $1.1 million project, at 1494 West Wade Hampton Blvd. Doctors Express is scheduled to open in January and IHOP, the anchor tenant, has already interviewed for workers and is planning to open in the first quarter of 2014. One 2,216 square foot suite remains on the market.
