Dr. Rogers, veteran of two wars, volunteer dentist, dies

Dr. Joseph McCall Rogers, a dentist, and volunteer dentist for nine years at the Connie Maxwell’s Children’s Home, died Saturday. Rogers was 92.

Rogers was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was the father of David Rogers, who was the founder of Joshua’s Way. Paul Rogers helped continue Joshua’s Way mission when his brother, David, died in July 2010. The global ministry has continued in bringing hope to inmates, feeding the homeless and the children’s ministry.

Joseph Rogers worked tirelessly at Joshua’s Way to help continue his son’s mission.
