“Faces in the Mirror”, a play exploring the subject of domestic abuse, will be performed at the Greer Opry House April 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. The play is being produced as the final thesis project of three Theatre Arts Graduate students in Greenville.

Admission is $8. The Opry House is at 107 Cannon Street.

The play tells the story of a mother and daughter who, despite legal action towards the father, their abuser, continue to receive physical, emotional, and verbal attacks. The production emphasizes the responses of these individuals to the mistreatment they receive, as the mother grapples with self-denial that things will work out, while the daughter seeks how to move forward with her life.

Each performance will be followed by a talkback session where representatives of local relief organizations, with literature available, can answer the audience’s questions.

Call the Greer Opry House at 864-801-1999 or 256-318-7275 for more information.
