Tribe513 is expanding its faith-based healthcare business and relocating its corporate headquarters to downtown Greer. The business will be at 139 E Poinsett St., at a portion of the former Mutual Home Store.

The site will become home to 70-80 existing team members with additional growth planned over the next five years, according to the Greer Development Corporation (GDC) announcement. Tribe513 announced that it plans to open a Parkside Pediatrics location on the site later this fall, according to the GDC.

In a separate transaction, Grace Church closed on three adjacent buildings, including the old D&D Ford facility. Grace Church reported it will transition its current Greer campus to the renovated buildings.

Tribe513, a faith-based, independent medical group consists of Parkside Pediatrics, Brio Internal Medicine, Vida Gynecology and the Breastfeeding Center of Greenville. The company plans to open a Parkside Pediatrics location on the site later this fall, according to the announcement.

The Mutual Home Store ceased operations in April, 2016.  Some of the six contiguous parcels representing more than 30,000 square feet on 1.45 acres in downtown Greer have been virtually unused for years.
