Dillon Fitts, of Blue Ridge High School, earned the Foothills Scholarship from North Greenville University.
He was chosen to receive the scholarship on the basis of his academic achievement, school, church, and community involvement.
Fitts interviewed and competed for the scholarship during Scholarship Interview Day at North Greenville University on Feb. 26. With satisfactory academic progress, this scholarship will guarantee $48,000 over the course of four years of attendance at North Greenville University.
Fitts has been accepted into the Class of 2020 and plans to enroll in August. He is the son of Shane and Cindy Fitts of Greer.
