It was Limestone’s first game outside South Carolina. The Saints fell to 2-5 while Fort Valley State is 5-2.
Fleming’s scoring reception from quarterback Jonathan Clark pulled Limestone within 13-14 and the extra point kick point was blocked. Fleming had two receptions for 18 yards.
Fleming leads Limestone receivers in receptions (20), yards (263) and touchdowns (4).
Limestone returns home next Saturday to play Jacksonville University at 1 p.m.
