A free girls softball camp, for ages 6-13, is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1 at Victor Park.
Ronnie Bruce, former coach at Blue Ridge High School, and Greer Parks and Recreation softball coaches will instruct the campers.
The schedule:
• 9-11, infield, outfield, and pitching
• 11-12 – lunch
• Noon – 2 pm., hitting, base running
Campers should bring glove, bat, helmet and wear cleats. Victor Park is at 108 South Line Street.
