Freedom Blast was a hit in made-to-order evening

Megan Watts dedicated her Greer Idol song, "Remembered You Today" to her father, who was in the audience Saturday. When she won Greer Idol Teen, two years ago, her father was deployed in Afghanistan.

The rained moved out, temperatures dropped into a comfortable zone and the Greer Freedom Blast had another memorable evening at Greer City Park.

All events were held outside with Greer Idol and Idol Teen performers singing patriotic songs.

20 Ride: ’The Zac Brown Tribute Band had an encore performance after its successful appearance at the 2014 Freedom Blast. Jack Black, shown on home page gallery, entertained leading into the fireworks display that ended the event.
