Instructors for the dance team will be at Moe’s of Greer (next to Target) for a teacher development fundraiser on Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. The instructors will be working – cleaning trays and tables to raise funds to attend a conference for teacher development this summer.
The Macy’s Parade Dancers will be at Moe’s on Pelham (I-85, exit 54) 4-9 p.m. Moe’s will donate 10 percent of its proceeds toward the dancers’ trip.
On May 23, the SDC will be at Chick-fil-A of Greer for a Spirit night from 5-8 p.m. for the Macy’s Parade Dancers. Patrons just need to place their receipt in a designated box at the restaurant and Chick-fil-A will donate 10 percent of the proceeds to the dancers.
A dinner-dance theatre type of event is scheduled in June, date to be announced, at the Greer Opry House. A barbecue plate dinner will be served and the SDC dance teams will perform. A bake sale will also be held.
