Gas plunges to $2.95 and lower prices expected

The average price for a gallon of gas in GreerToday is $3.05, reported by at least nine stations. The price reflects South Carolina’s gas prices as the fourth lowest in the country.

Gas prices, according to AAA Carolinas, are expected to continue to drop between now and Thanksgiving, typically the most heavily traveled four-day holiday. Check daily Greer gas prices here.

Greenville County gas prices for a gallon of gas is $3.00. Area gas prices have fallen by more than 42 cents a gallon in the past month.

The average national price is $3.48, down from $3.80 one month ago.
