Gas under $2. Savings more than $1 a gallon compared to a year ago

What better way to enjoy traveling than knowing you are saving at least one dollar and change purchasing 1 gallon of unleaded gas?

Keep up with the daily fuel prices in greater Greer here. 

Greater Greer travelers enjoy some of the lowest gas prices in the country – ranging the lowest locally recorded Monday afternoon at a reported $1.95 at the Spinx on W. Wade Hampton and N. Main Street in Greer.

There are no fewer than a dozen more stations with prices at $1.99 for a gallon of unleaded fuel. Prices are expected to continue its drop through the holidays.

A gallon of unleaded fuel was $3.025 a year ago Monday versus the national average of $3.229.

Be advised to note the difference for cash unlimited and prices that are higher with the use of credit cards.
