Austin Gay's signing with Erskine College on Tuesday was a family affair. Attending the event were his grandmother, Mary Gay, parents Steven and Tracy Gay, and sisters Mary-Claire and Jessica.

Austin Gay is with his parents, Steven and Tracy, during the formal signing. Also attending are Bob Masullo, Greer coach, and Brian Wortkoetter, SC Knights Travel team coach.
He has lettered in varsity and jayvee baseball under coaches Bob Massullo, Kevin Gregory and Eric Moody.
His middle school and travel ball coach Bryan Wortkoetter was also in attendance at the signing.
Gay has a 3.86 grade point average and has received multiple academic honors including Beta Club, Newberry Scholar, Mu Alpha Theta and was a member of Youth Leadership Greenville.
Family, friends, Athletic Director Travis Perry, Massulo and Bryan Wortkoetter attended the signing.
