Gay signs with Erskine to play baseball

Austin Gay, an infielder with Greer High School, signed a baseball grant-in-aid with Erskine College Tuesday.

He has lettered in varsity and jayvee baseball under coaches Bob Massullo, Kevin Gregory and Eric Moody. 

His middle school and travel ball coach Bryan Wortkoetter was also in attendance at the signing.

Gay has a 3.86 grade point average and has received multiple academic honors including Beta Club, Newberry Scholar, Mu Alpha Theta and was a member of Youth Leadership Greenville. 

Family, friends, Athletic Director Travis Perry, Massulo and Bryan Wortkoetter attended the signing.
