The Greater Greer Education Foundation will award $1,000 scholarships to 12 students at a reception Thursday at 4 p.m. at Greer City Hall.
Earlier this year the Foundation awarded grants totaling $9,651.61 to 10 schools in the Greater Greer area. Teachers from the 27 schools served by the board submitted proposals.
