James Wright, a Greenville native, fights off a simulated attacker aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea. 

 

The United States Navy trains for attacks on board ships while conducting naval operations.

Electronics Technician 3rd Class James Wright, a Greenville native, fights off a simulated attacker during an oleoresin capsacin (chili pepper) spray qualification aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea. 

Philippine Sea, part of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
