Greer girls tennis beats Southside

Greer beat Southside in a Region II-AAA girls tennis match Wednesday, 4-3.

Kylie Sandusky won her No. 1 singles match to up her record to 6-1. However Sandusky, teaming with Taylor, fell in the double match.  It was Greer's second region win in five matches.

No. 1 K. Sandusky (G) def. T. Parrott  6-3, 6-3

No. 2   L. Meng (S) def. H. Taylor 6-1, 6-0

No. 3 I. Dunn (S) def. M. Harvey 7-5, 6-4

No. 4 G. Harvell (G) def. C. Rhodes 6-3, 6-1

No. 5 H. Henline (G) def. M. Christie 6-0, 6-0

Doubles

No. 1 Parrott/Meng (S) def. Sandusky/Taylor 8-7

No. 2 Greer won by forfeit 1-0

Greer 2-5 overall, 2-3 Region II-AAA
