Greer man charged with 2 counts of felony DUI in New Year's Eve crash
A Greer man has been charged with two counts of felony driving under the influence in a New Year’s Eve crash.

The crash occurred at East Wade Hampton Blvd. and North Main Street. Four vehicles were involved in the crash and four people were sent to the hospital, according to Holcombe. Greenville-bound traffic was closed due to the accident.

Two of the four people suffered serious injuries, according to Holcombe.

Holcombe said a MAIT team (Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team) was called to the scene because of the severity and intricacy of the collision.

The accident is still under investigation but it appeared someone disregarded the red light, police reported.

McIntyre was in the Greenville County Detention Center under $20,000 bond on Monday morning, according to reports.
