Greer Middle College Charter High School students attended the 76th Annual S.C. State Beta Club Convention Feb. 7-9 in Myrtle Beach, where junior Micah Williams was elected state president. 

The 47 students participated in various competitions over the weekend. Savannah Ralph, a junior, won first place in pencil drawing. Rachel Lawrence, a junior, competed in the finals of special talent.  

All 47 students assisted, campaigned and encouraged Williams throughout the weekend and celebrated together as he was announced the 2014 S.C. dtate Beta Club president.
