Greer Middle IB School spent a "Spirit Week" in November, raising money for Joe, a 7-year- old Make-A-Wish child from Taylors who is diagnosed with leukemia.

His wish is to go to Legoland in California. 

Greer Middle IB students participated in the following activities:

• What's your wish? Students donated $1 for a paper star and to have their fortune told
• Students purchased Make-A-Wish wrist bands for $2
• Students donated money to see an Administrator kiss a pig. Whichever administrator raised the most money has to kiss a pig during the pep rally
