Greer Nationals only unbeaten remaining in double elimination Dixie Youth District tournament at Greer Country Club field

The Greer Baseball Club National team is the only unbeaten remaining in the Dixie Youth District tournament.

 

Four teams remain in the Dixie Youth District Baseball Tournament being played at Greer Country Club ball field. Teams have players aged 11-12 years-old.

The Greer Baseball Club National team is the only unbeaten team remaining.

Six Mile plays Seneca at 6 p.m. Wednesday in an elimination game and Greer Baseball Club National, the host team, plays Belton at 8 p.m.

Greer’s opponent is Belton, which lost its first game versus Walhalla. Seneca and Six Mile have each lost once.

The championship game is 6 p.m. Friday with a second game at 8 p.m. if needed.

The Greer American team was defeated by Seneca in the first game and Honea Path in the second game.

The six-day tournament featured 11 teams. Eliminated from the tournament Greer Baseball Club American, Honea Path, Liberty, Mauldin, Pickens, Walhalla and Westminster.
