Ahkeem Jabarr “AJ” Rector was wanted on arrest warrants for attempted murder, burglary -1st degree and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Detectives with the Greer Police Department located and arrested a man suspected in an attempted murder on Sunday.
Ahkeem Jabarr “AJ” Rector was wanted on arrest warrants for attempted murder, burglary -1st degree and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime Sunday at 220 Biblebrook Drive.
GPD officers responded to a report of a shooting on Biblebrook Drive and found one person injured from a gunshot wound. The shooting victim was then taken to the emergency room.
After officers located Rector, the GPD Emergency Response Team and Crisis Negotiation Team were called to the scene after he refused to come out of the residence. The Crisis Negotiation Team was able to get Rector surrender without further incident.
