Kendra Kemp, president of the Greer Jaycees, presented a $1,000 check Thursday to Caroline Robinson, Executive Director of Greer Relief. The proceeds were from the 2011 Jaycees Christmas Parade.
Rose for Relief St. Patrick's Celebration is Greer Relief's next big event, scheduled on March 17 from 7 p.m. to midnight at 317 S. Buncombe Road. A silent auction, live band, Irish menu and bar will be part of the program.
The cost is $65 per person before March 1 and $75 after. White Rose Table Sponsors for eight is $600 and Peach Rose table sponsors for four is $300.
All proceeds benefit Greer Relief.
