Upcountry Carriage will be offering horse-drawn rides during December through New Year’s in downtown Greer around City Park.

Scott Campbell of Upcountry Carriage will begin offering the rides during the City of Greer Christmas tree lighting weekend beginning Friday, Dec. 2. The rides will be offered on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-11 p.m.

A vis-a-vis carriage will be used with up to four riders.

Cisco, a black 10-year-old horse, will be used to pull the carriage. Rides are $5 per person.
Campbell said Cisco can pull approximately 6,000 pounds, six time the horse’s body weight.

Per city code, Cisco will be required to wear a horse diaper.
