Washington Center has been celebrating the "Pete the Cat" craze.

During recent months, several classes used "Pete" as their theme for classroom door and pumpkin decoration contests.  "Pete the Cat" books are favorites throughout the school.

Jean Ashmore’s and Sharon Russo’s classes emailed James Dean, the illustrator of the book series, information and pictures about the school. Dean surprised both classes with packages of "Pete the Cat" pictures created especially for the students at Washington Center.
