Christmas last year Jacob was 9 and Hunter was 14.
The family was going through difficult times during the holidays because of personal issues. I had recently remarried, and the boys were experiencing a new family atmosphere.
Although Christmas Day was a little awkward for everyone at first, as the day progressed, things became more comfortable.
I know that my boys learned the importance of family at Christmas that day and have since gained a better grasp on the concept of family all year round.
This year my wife,Tara, and I have worked hard to focus on family, and we’re looking forward to having everyone together on Christmas Day.
