Atmosphere, live music, friends and cool pints of craft beer are at your fingertips at R.J. Rockers in Spartanburg.

Tour and Taste Thursday, 5-7 p.m., is just another reason to spend $5 and get your own beer glass at the craft brewery at 226-A Main Street.

Enjoy Son of a Peach which is one of the brews that put R.J. Rockers on the crafts beer map. It’s unfiltered American wheat ale made with real peaches and is a local favorite this time of the year.

Rockers originated at Delaney's Irish Pub a couple city blocks away in downtown Spartanburg. Founder Mark Johnsen wanted to focus more on creating a microbrewery and make beer for the masses, not just for family and friends.

Since 2003, Mark has been working on several successful flavors that I plan to try at Tour and Taste.
