The ribbon cutting ceremony at Allen Tate Realtors Tuesday drew laughter when Allen Smith, President and CEO of the Greer Chamber of Commerce, presented Pat Riley, center, President, of the company, the symbolic framed first $1 proftt.
Rigby and her husband, Dan, sold their company, Rigby Company Realtors, to Allen Tate six years ago. “This has been good for us,” Rigby said. “It’s brought us more depth, brought us more systems for agents and it took Rigby Company to a new level.” Rigby is a Leader at the Greenville and Easley offices.
The Greer location has 4,000-square feet, has 16 agents, and can accommodate up to 38 realtors and staff. Erika DeRoberts is the Leader managing the office. Jim Fritzsche, sales agent, who steered the office from downtown Greer to its larger building, returns to cultivate sales.
Pat Riley, President, was on hand for the official community launch of the prototypical office design.
Riley described the offices as a living room concept. “The last six grand openings we’ve had this type design,” Riley said. “Many people in the past found home buying scary. They would say ‘I want a three bedroom home, two baths … Now they want to get their hands ‘dirty’ by being very active buyers.”
Riley said the sofa centered in the office, with HD televisions strategically placed throughout, help agents present their inventory to clients in a comfortable and interactive environment.
“Other than medical care the most important purchase for a family is a home,” Riley said.
Allen Tate provides customers mortgage, insurance, title, home warranty and home services. It’s located at 1380 W. Hampton Blvd.
