Julie Rajaee's boutique business, "Love-Branded", began when she decided to spend her birthday money on a hobby. A book about jewelry making and uncounted beads, Julie said, "led to more necklaces in proportion to the number of necks I owned."

The scores of hours practicing and creating new pieces of jewelry was born when she held an open house, at the suggestion of a friend, to sell some of her designs. Seven years later, "I am still enjoying expressing my creativity through this craft and have expanded my craft by adding the Hand Stamped line into my collection," Julie said.

She expanded her selling venues by moving into The Shoppes at Grapevine. Julie also sells her brand at www.etsy.com/shop/lovebranded. "Who doesn’t love to wear something that tells others something about themselves?" Julie said.

Julie is married and the mother of boys. She grew up in Albuquerque, N.M., and has lived in South Carolina for 12 years.

Julie's inspiration led to her business' name. "I am inspired by the fact that each one of us impacts one another in small and sometimes huge ways.  Our lives truly imprint upon each other, and so I thought it fitting to name my business ”Love Branded” as each of our hearts are “branded” with all the experiences, memories, and relationships we’ve had with others.

"It’s why we love to wear our kids' names, or birthdays, or the anniversary of when we married the love of our lives around our necks. It’s why we love to find a word we think defines or inspires us and wear it as motivation.  We are who we are largely due to whom we’ve encountered in our lives and what we’ve chosen to embrace. I am so grateful for everyone and every experience that God has put in my path.

Visit "Love-Branded" at The Shoppes at the Grapevine open house at 211 Trade Street next Thursday from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
