Greer High School’s Taylor Ciara Lowrance received a certificate of achievement as the “Future Soldier of the Month”.
Lowrance scored a 315 on the Physical Training (PT) score for the Army. She is enlisted and will leave for Basic Training July 16.
Lowrance participated on the volleyball, basketball and track teams. Track coach Erie Williams said Williams, the only senior on the track team, works hard and loves to compete at a high level. “She is definitely someone that I would not mind protecting this country,” Williams said.
