Anna McCleer, with Riverside Middle School Principal Eric Williams, won the Vocal performance at the school’s Talent Show Tuesday night.
Anna McCleer, performing at Greer Idol Teen last year, finished third. She wrote and sang “What Do You Say” during one appearance.
McCleer was a finalist last year at Greer Idol Teen (third place), where she impressed judges with her voice and song writing.
“What Do You Say?” was written and performed by McCleer in 103-degree heat with a 110-degree heat index last summer. “I can’t imagine what it’s like to write a song like that, Miles Nason, the judge that evening, said.
