Sherry Coonse McCraw is the new Vice President for Finance and Production Control at BMW Manufacturing Co., in Greer.
McCraw, a 20-year veteran of BMW’s plant, has been instrumental in leading the plant’s major expansion investments throughout her tenure. Most recently, she managed the company’s $900 million investment to add 1.6 million square feet to the plant’s 4.0 million square foot footprint. This investment, which was announced in early 2012, will add a new model to the plant and increase the overall annual volume to 350,000 units by the end of 2014. In her new role, McCraw will continue to oversee the plant’s investment and expansion efforts.
“Sherry has devoted her entire career to engineering and planning in the manufacturing industry. Her experience will be a great asset to BMW’s senior management team,” said Josef Kerscher, President, BMW Manufacturing Co.
