The approximately one-mile walk begins at the church and ends at the Greer Soup Kitchen, 521 East Poinsett Street. It is a dog-friendly event.
A barbecue lunch, catered by Chelsea’s, will be served featuring barbecue, cole slaw, baked beans and dessert and drinks. Proceeds and donations will benefit the Greer Soup Kitchen.
The Soup Kitchen serves about 150 meals a day, over 5,000 a month on average.
