Michelin is latest tire manufacturer raising prices

Michelin is the latest tire manufacturer or marketer to increase prices this year.

Michelin North America, headquartered in Greenville, announced today it is increasing prices up to six percent on its compact and agricultural tires sold in the U.S and Canada.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. raised prices on all its consumer and commercial tire brands six percent effective April 1. Continental Tire  raised prices on all Continental General and Ameri Steel brand commercial truck tires up to 9 percent on Feb. 15. Yokohama Tire prices increased up to 8 percent on all its consumer and commercial tires sold in the U.S. on March 1.
